How to get there

Coming from Stuttgart
When travelling from Stuttgart you must follow the A8 towards Ulm.  At exit 65 (motorway junction Ulm/Elchingen) you leave the A8 and take the A7 towards Kempten/Lindau. As soon as you reach exit 131 (Bad Grönenbach) leave the motorway and head left towards Bad Grönenbach/Schwäbische Baderstrasse by following the country road MN19.

Coming from Hamburg or Kassel
Follow the A7 motorway towards Stuttgart/Würzburg/Fulda. Keep straight on until you reach exit 131 (Bad Grönenbach). Here you leave the motorway and head left towards Bad Grönenbach/Schwäbische Baderstrasse by following the country road MN19.

Coming from Munich
Follow the A96 motorway towards Lindau / A8/Stuttgart/Laim. After approximately 100 kilometres fork off on to the A7 towards Kempten/Memmingen-Süd. As soon as you reach exit 131 (Bad Grönenbach) leave the motorway and head left towards Bad Grönenbach/Schwäbische Baderstrasse by following the country road MN19.

Coming from Switzerland
Follow the A1 motorway towards Sankt Gallen/Winterthur. At exit 86 you must head for München (D)/Bregenz (A). After driving 400 metres on the E60, pass the roundabout and you are already in Austria. From her, keep on the E43/E60 and head for Lindau, Germany. Take the slip-road onto the A14/E43 and you will now have reached Germany. Continue on the A96 motorway Wangen/Memmingen and as soon as you see the A7 signposted head for Füssen/Memmingen-Süd. Keep straight on until you reach exit 131 (Bad Grönenbach). Here you leave the motorway and head left towards Bad Grönenbach/Schwäbische Baderstrasse by following the country road MN19.

Coming by car
Follow the A7 motorway until you reach exit number 131 which takes you to Bad Grönenbach.
After approximately 2 kilometres you will reach a roundabout. Drive straight ahead after the roundabout, follow the Bahnhofstrasse, passing two supermarkets on the left-hand side, and head for the village centre. After driving approximately 800 metres, turn sharp left into the Marktstrasse where you will see the Sparkasse Bank on the left-hand side. Keep going until you reach the third road on your right (Rothensteiner Strasse) towards Legau. Turn right here and then right again into the road marked “Am Schloßberg”. Continue along this narrow lane for approximately 100 metres and turn right at the top of the hill. Now you have reached your destination and you can park at our main entrance.

Coming by train
Bad Grönenbach has its own railway station where trains from the Deutsche Bahn (www.db.de) and the private railway, Allgäu-Express „Alex“ (http://www.allgaeu-bahn.de/all-start.htm) stop regularly. In the event that you are unable to find a suitable connection to Bad Grönenbach, Memmingen is always a good alternative. We will be only too glad to collect you from either railway station. Just give us a call prior to arriving there so that we can collect you without your having to wait.

We cooperate with the Deutsche Bahn so that you can book your return train ticket with us at a reduced rate.

Rate for up to 400 kilometres: 60 €
Rate for over 401 kilometres: 102 €

Let us know if you’d like us to handle your ticket arrangements. After doing so, you will be called by the DB Service Centre asking you to give details of your departure time, seat reservation and luggage transport. A ticket will be sent to you by post and the invoicing is settled with the Health Hotel. Use of these special offers is only possible in conjunction with at least one overnight stay at the Health Hotel!

Coming by air
